Scott has over 10 years experience working as a Sports Therapist since graduating MARJONS in 2010 with a degree in Sports Therapy and is a full member of the Society of Sports Therapists.
Scott Silsbury Owner/Sports Therapist
Scott has worked a variety of roles within the industry, working in the private health sector in sports injury clinics across the south west as well as setting up his own clinic shortly after graduating. Scott has also held various roles within the local sports scene, working as the Youth Sports therapist at Torquay United FC as well as providing pitch side support for Paignton RFC and both Dartmouth RFC and AFC. One of the highlights of his career came in 2014 when he gained valuable experience working alongside the South African Rugby team and Jacksonville Jaguars NFL team, providing soft tissue services to their players.
A keen sportsman, Scott has played a variety of sports including, football, golf and rugby, currently playing for New Cross RFC. Scott has been able to bring his experiences of playing sport into the clinic, understanding the needs and skills required in treating injured sportsmen and women.
Summer Hervin/Sports Therapist
Meet Summer, our sports therapist with a passion for helping our patients recover from injuries and improve their performance. Summer obtained her degree in Sports Therapy from Exeter University and has experience working with a diverse range of athletes. She has a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the human anatomy, allowing her to effectively diagnose and treat injuries. She is always striving to improve her skills and stay current with the latest advancements in the field, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.
When she's not helping athletes reach their full potential, Summer can be found surfing the waves or exploring the great outdoors. She believes that being active and connecting with nature is essential for both physical and mental well-being, and encourages her patients to incorporate these principles into their recovery process.
